Tons of lucky draws coupon, but...

Went for IT Show 2007 at Suntec today with wife. She purchased a samsung TV with a 25% during the last hours of the show. We happily went off around 9pm but later realised there is lucky draw coupon that we didn't redeem. So I went back up, and noticed there was a redeemption booth for Samsung purchases for some lucky draw thing.

Hearing from the announcement that the lucky draw for the IT Show 2007 was already on-going, I tried my luck at the booth. The staff was still allowing people to redeems the lucky draw coupons, think it's a separate draw. I Q and hand over my receipts, and goosh! I was given two thick stacks of different coupons (just for our purchase of 1.2k). To my disappointment, there was NO pen available for me to fill up. Asked the staff and he was blank at me not knowing how to assits. Gave up and went back. Well, one of the stacks i could still fill up later stage coz its deadline not over yet... Must salute those people that buy alot of things from samsung that had to went thru the effort to fill up BOOKLETS of coupons...

I wonder why the organiser can't be abit of considerate to have pens for people to loan (if scared stolen, can always attached them to the counter). Esp why the need to fill up the receipts number (if they don't trust we buy, why not simply issue the coupons when we pay...)

I guess the next time I come for such show to buy anything, I need to bring pen or self-ink DIY pads to standby incase I had alot of things to fill up. Even better, I should bring tons of them to sell or rent on the spot! That's what the singapore government pushing for, innovative ideas. hahaha.

With IT been so advance, wonder why no one implement counters with PCs/printer whereby staff could simply key in the customer details (caputre correct database) and then print the necessary number of coupons out. Save time on customers end and don't need to pre-print coupons... Mmm, maybe IT simply are way way slowly picking up in singapore still. lol
